Purpose Why are you an event planner?
I have always been a planner. Just ask my friends and family. They will tell you how I can't just sit back and watch something not get planned. I have a knack for detail and organization that allows me to see things that most people don't which adds a unique flavor to each of my events. Putting all of those details together to create a meaningful, memorable, stress-free experience for clients and guests is one of my favorite things about event planning - besides checking things off of my list! From day one to event day, I have eyes on everything so that my clients, partners, sponsors and vendors don't have to worry, and they can focus on doing what they do best. I love to plan, and I love to create amazing experiences for and with people. It's not just about planning and delivering, but creating a conversation around the "why" of an event so together, we can effectively and thoughtfully meet goals with intent.
Hero What's the hardest challenge you overcame?
Planning and managing a welcome party, expo and a food and beverage plan for a 5,000 person, 3-day corporate conference in Orlando, Florida (and add the tornado/hurricane that swept through on the night of the welcome party!)
Superpower What are you exceptionally good at?
Seeing details that typically get missed especially if something changes - everything is connected so if one thing changes, it impacts a multitude of other things. I am good at seeing all the places that the change will impact. Google Drive - creating professional, easy-to-manage templates, documents, spreadsheets and forms Documenting - goes hand-in-hand with the templates that I create in Google Drive so I don't have to start from scratch every time I start a new event Moving quickly and remembering a lot of things.
Other Interests Do you have another side hustle or hobby?
Finding delicious new restaurants, thrift shopping, reading

What are your accomplishments as a creative in the experiential space?
I created a hands-on educational tour of the refugee experience for the International Rescue Committee’s annual gala. Also, using Canva to create gala documents and my own business cards.
What are your accomplishments on previous Production teams?
- Creating processes and procedures and a toolbook for scaling and implementing events around the country
- Anticipating when weather can affect an event and quickly working on a Plan B with my partners for a seamless pivot
- Organizing documents and tracking systems to manage tasks
